| Hollingdean Gets A Clear Up |

People living in the area will be joining forces with staff and councillors from Brighton & Hove City Council, officers and community support officers from Brighton & Hove police neighbourhood teams, and a range of other agencies for a clear up day on Friday 8th August. Together they will be blitzing litter, removing stones and rocks to prevent vandalism, and carrying out a general tidy up. Participants are asked to meet at the Community Centre on Thompson Road at 9.00am for registration. Lunch will be provided with an estimated finish at 3.30pm. Participants will then be treated to a celebratory barbeque and prize giving. Everyone, whatever your age, is welcome to take part ! Local businesses are also asked to donate prizes.
