Fans turn on Peter Andre for selling his story

Fans are shocked Peter Andre sold his story. Peter Andre has done what he said he would never do and that is to sell a story about his break up with Katie Price. The singer who has recently divorced Katie Price has always said that he would never sell his story and that is why the public took sides with Peter Andre, the public thought Peter Andre was respectful and bigger than Katie Price when it came to not running to the newspapers every time but now the fans are turning their backs on the couple which includes Peter Andre.

In2town went out on the streets of Manchester to find out what people thought of Katie Price and Peter Andre and we found that people were now fed up of the whole affair.

Sarah Chesterfield from Hyde said: “I really liked Peter Andre and I respected him for not selling out to the newspapers but now that has changed, I am shocked that he is now selling his story to any newspaper that will pay him, they are both as bad as each other.”

Nicola Miles from Stretford said: “Peter Andre should not have sold his story, he has now become as bad as his ex wife, why should celebrities feel the need to go and sell their stories on their private lives and then complain the next minute when the newspapers run stories on them.”

Lucy Walker from Levenshulme in Manchester said: “I bought Peter Andre record which I thought was not bad, but I only really bought it because I thought he was a decent guy, it was not really an album I would have rushed out to buy but because of all the media attention around it, I wanted to listen to the songs. Now I would not give him the time of day, he has now shown he just wants to use his married to gain publicity and money.”

Mark Wright from Chorlton in Manchester: “At first I felt sorry for Peter, it was not nice for his marriage to break down, I have been through it but I would not go out and sell my story on my marriage break up, not that anyone would pay me. My respect for the guy has gone, it is disgusting that he has seen the need to sell his story.”

Chelsea Knowles from Didsbury in Manchester said: “I cannot see Peter Andre having another hit record, he has shown he is not the nice guy he tried to make out to be, he is just as bad as Katie Price selling his story to the media. Maybe what Katie Price has been saying all this time is true and he has been fooling the public.”?

We asked 200 people in Manchester the following questions and we were shocked with the results.

1.     Do you agree with Peter Andre selling his story to the me dia on the break up of his marriage – 81% said no

2.     Has Peter Sold his story for money or to set the record straight. – 97% said he sold his story for money.

3.     Did you respect Peter Andre before he sold his story – 73% said they respected him

4.     Do you respect Peter Andre now that he has sold his story – 19% said they do respect him

5.     Do you now feel some of the things Katie Price said about her marriage is true – 63% said yes

6.     Would you buy Peter Andre next album after he has sold his story – 39% said they would still buy his album

It seems that Peter Andre management should be asking themselves why they let Peter Andre sell his story when all this time they had been working on his image to keep the public on his side.

After our survey we have found that not only are people sick of the Katie Price and Peter Andre marriage and fights, we also found that the people have now began to look at Peter Andre in a new light where he has now lost the respect of his fans who are his bread and butter.

In the interview that he sold to The News of The World, Peter Andre claimed that his marriage ended over Katie Price riding instructor, which will come as a blow to Andrew Gould wife who has asked her husband if any affair took place, which he and Katie Price denied.

According to Peter Andre     

 "I would never ask her to stop riding, but I did ask her to mo ve her horses or get a new instructor. She didn't. It was no secret among our friends that I was unhappy," Peter said.
 
"When we weren't working, I always wanted us to have a family day with the kids. I'd wake up and she'd have left already to go riding. In America she'd go out riding with no make-up, but here she'd go out on her horse fully made-up.”
 
"Once Katie was obsessed with a girl at my gym she thought fancied me. So I stopped going to the gym for three months. But she wouldn't switch riding instructors."
 
Peter Andre admitted that the couple had a trial separation eleven months before they finally split up which makes you look at the programme they done together where they were supposed to have been together but were seen arguing more and more. The question has to be asked which ITV should answer to its viewers, was the programme a lie, were the couple separated when the viewers were led to believe they were together. In2town Lifestyle Magazine feels Ofcom should investigate this.
 
All we can say is, Peter Andre who have made the wrong move in selling your story, we thought you were better than that, but you are not.
