Tom Jones is saying Good Bye to LA

Tom Jones The 'Green, Green Grass of Home' singer is moving back to the UK after living in Los Angeles for 35 years.

He said: "I've had a great time living in Los Angeles but after all these years we think now is the time to move home.

"My wife Linda's been getting homesick lately and we have talked about it for a while. Britain has always been home. I love coming here and miss it more and more when I go back to Los Angeles. It's the people and humour you can't get anywhere else."

We'd like somewhere in the country, but I think we'll get a place in London first to ease back into it.

The 69-year-old welsh superstar revealed his decision to move was speeded up by his friend and former Los Angeles neighbour Robbie Williams returning to the UK.

He added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I decided to move before Robbie but he got here before me. I said to him, 'I've been talking about it all this time and you've gone and done it.'
