Smith (Kano, Beyonce, Plan B, Jamelia), ‘Trust Me’ finds Craig David pursuing a more soulful approach, with a looser live band style than on his previous albums. Other highlights include the ballad ‘Awkward’ (featuring guest vocals from unknown 17 year old Rita Ora from west London) that offers some of his most evocative lyrics to date, the infectious hook and insistent rhythms of 'Don’t Play With Our Love', and ‘She’s On Fire’ which combines sublime bass with Craig’s fluid lyrical flow. Heralded as his finest work since breaking through with his debut album ‘Born To Do It’, ‘Trust Me’ features the hit singles ‘Hot Stuff (Let’s Dance)’ and ‘6 of 1 Thing’. Craig David’s next single, ‘Officially Yours / ‘She’s On Fire’, will be released on June 23rd.
