Britney Spears not allowed to play with Lindsay Lohan

If Lindsay Lohan comes knocking on Britney Spears door asking if she is playing out, Britney Spears has been told to say No! Britney Spears father Jamie Spears who controls his daughter’s affairs has told the singer that she is banned from seeing her friend Lindsay Lohan.

Jamie Spears has put his foot down and believes that Lindsay is trouble and blames her partly for leading his daughter astray. According to sources in the Britney Spears management team, Jamie feels the influence that Lindsay has over his daughter will take her off the straight and narrow and lead her astray into the murky world of trouble.

“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“They simply chatted by phone — but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded.

“He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would NOT tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter.

“Britney’s so totally humiliated — she feels like she’s 13 again. It’s embarrassing for her that she’s 28 years old, but her dad gets to tell her who her friends will be.

“On the other hand, Jamie’s trying to keep what he deems to be bad influences away from his daughter — and Lindsay certainly qualifies.”

A source close to the Spears family has said: “Jamie is just looking out for his daughter, he wants her to get better and show the courts that she can look after herself and keep out of trouble. He does not want someone to come along and set her back months in her mission to take charge of her own life.”
