Brother 9 star Mario is embarking on a career as a celebrity beauty
judge after being signed up by Nuts TV to be on the judging panel for
this year’s Nuts Babe Search 2008 final. Mario hopes the contest, to be broadcast on Nuts TV, will be the first step in his career as a judge for beauty competitions. He sees himself as the ‘the Simon Cowell of the modeling industry’ and hopes to be a regular on the panel for Miss Britain competitions - and if all goes to plan one day judge Miss World! Speaking to Nuts TV Mario said: 'I’m really looking forward to being one of the judges at the final of the Nuts Babe Search. I'm hoping this could be the start of a successful career as a celebrity judge. I’d love to be the Simon Cowell of the modeling industry. In fact I’d go as far as saying I’ve actually got a better job than Simon Cowell… I’ll be getting paid to judge sexy girls wearing next to nothing, what could be better?” Mario is a married man and confirmed to Nuts TV he is going to avoid any Danielle Lloyd and Teddy Sheringham style voting scandals (Danielle was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after it was a relationship between her and judge Teddy was uncovered). Reality TV star Mario is taking his job seriously and is going to be judging girls purely on their looks and modeling potential. In fact, he hopes to take his judging career even further adding: “Hopefully it won’t stop here, if Miss World asked me to be on the panel I’d jump at the chance!” Mario will also be taking a keen interest in the health and safety of the competition. “It goes without saying I’ll be looking after the girls. I’ll be making sure they get lots of drinks. I don’t want any incidents like I had in the house. Health and safety is always paramount in any competition – especially a prestigious event like this.” Joining Mario on the judging panel will be glamour model Lucy Pinder, Editor of Nuts magazine Dominic Smith, and Dave Read, from Neon Management. The evening will be attended by a host of celebrity guests including Chanelle, Chantelle Houghton, Dean Gaffney and players from the England rugby squad.
